Two copies of Devldr32.exe running at the same time?

Check how many Devldr32.exe files you have on your %systemroot% folder. If you have more than 1, remove all files but the one located at %systemroot%\system32\devldr32

What does this patch do ?

It loads Devldr32.exe as a service. This way it solves a lot of problems that were caused with this file (some BSOD and problems with this file affecting the system performance).

I get an error which says "No application is associated with the specified file for this operation."

        To fix this problem you must re-install the script engine for windows 2000 (for some reason it has been erased from your PC). To do this, go to the Microsoft web site and download it from there.

The Environmental Audio % slider doesn't work!!

        The slider does work actually, but it won't reflect the changes until you close and open the window again. To avoid this problem you could load a second copy of devldr32.exe. But the problems you had will come back.
